July 23, 2003 - I Feel the Earth Move Crews are moving earth and rock in great quantities to reshape the new lift and trail layouts. Dopplemayr crews move rocks by hand and jackhammer to build a new tower foundation for the summit... while Gunstock crews excavate the load area in preparation for building the new drive station. Elsewhere on the mountain, Gunstock's Bill Buell uses an excavator-mounted hydraulic hammer to break up ledge on Gunsmoke for snowmaking pipe.... after making short work of the old Pistol unload foundation.
