This year enjoy MORE Gunstock! Brand new for 2003/04 is a hi-speed detachable quad to the summit. You'll celebrate your on snow experience with 4 miles of additional snowmaking and 25 more acres covered with night lighting. And for all you freeriders there's a "sick" new terrain park and pipe area and we've just added the Gunstock Freestyle Academy. Gunstock's in year three of our award winning Mountain Magic guaranteed learn to ski or ride program. In addition to skiing and riding, Gunstock's Learning Center provides instruction for telemark, cross country and snowshoe enthusiasts, and downhill racing. The Cross Country & Snowshoe Center is a full service retail, rental and lesson facility. Gunstock's 50 kilometers of trail network offers a variety for all skate, track set or backcountry skiing or snowshoeing abilities. Along with the great amenities listed above, we also have several food service areas catered by The Kieley Corporation out of Hampstead NH. They are a full service catering and function facility. The cafeteria is to be found in the Main Lodge. There is also food service in the Stockade Lodge as well as in the Panorama Pub located at the summit of Gunstock. The Powder Keg Lounge offers a sit down menu as well as full bar service and on sunny days enjoy an outside deck area. A second lounge, the Cantina, is located on the balcony of the Main Lodge. Gunstock also has a full service Children's Center offering daycare from ages 6 months, skiing lessons from ages 3 years, and snowboarding lessons for ages 8 and up. Many options are available. The Mountain Gear Shop located on the deck level of the Guest Services Lodge is filled with some great new lines including Betty Rides, Orage and a new look and feel to Karbon apparel. If you've forgotten mittens, gloves, hats or want to purchase gifts and other tokens or novelty items, the retail store is filled with ideas for you to take home. Don't forget gift certificates for those hard-to-buy folks or six-packs of lift tickets, tubing tickets or Children's Center programs for money saving options. The Fischer Adventure Demo Center offers a full line of hardware and accessories for your skiing and riding needs. Recreational skis, racing skis and twin tips by Fischer, helmets, sunglasses, goggles, boots, and snowboards by Volkl are all here for you to try or buy! For the convenience of our visitors and guests, Gunstock also offers a free courtesy ski and snowboard check. This provides you with more security during the times when you are not on the mountain and want to store your equipment for a short period of time. Located in the lower level of the Main Lodge is also Gunstock's Basket Room where you can rent baskets to store possessions. There are also coin operated lockers located around the Main Lodge and the Guest Services Lodge to secure your belongings while you are visiting Gunstock. And when the busier days require us to use our remote parking areas, Gunstock provides a free shuttle service to and from your vehicle to the Main Lodge.
